The July 4th Holiday is more than just Fireworks. In Peachtree City it is a huge celebration. The 4th of July parade begins at 9am on the southern end of Peachtree Parkway. Floats, bands, acrobats, and plenty of candy and giveaways will fill the sides of the streets with spectators. Later in the day, there is a large outdoor festival called Fourth Fest with music, food, and games at City Hall plaza. Entertainment is free. It’s a great event to gather at while waiting for the fireworks to begin. Bring a lawn chair for an even better experience. Fourth Fest precedes the massive fireworks display over Lake Peachtree to complete the evening. Every year, the fireworks get better and better. Get more info
